Join Our Chainsaw Instructor Cadre

Terry Harvey

Team Rubicon is seeking the next wave of chainsaw instructors to expand our disaster response footprint.

Team Rubicon’s chainsaw training is among the most popular courses we offer, and we’re looking to add capacity to our ever-growing chainsaw instructor cadre. In 2016, 51 instructors hosted 58 sawyer training events to certify over 400 sawyers with an unwavering appetite for reconstruction.

This train-the-trainer course will help empower our ten regions by providing trained personnel to deliver the Chainsaw Operations Sawyer 1 to volunteers across the country. Click below to learn about the course details and eligibility criteria. Think you have what it takes?

Region IX hosted a chainsaw training event on Operation Firefall just outside of Yosemite National Park.
