Responding to Severe Weather in the South

After another line of severe storms hits Texas this holiday season, learn how Team Rubicon is responding.

After more than 20 tornadoes touched down across the South just before Christmas, another line of storms and tornadoes barreled through Texas on Dec. 26.

On Christmas Day, Region IV launched Operation: Skipping Christmas in Tippah County, MS and more than 20 volunteers are on the ground to assist homeowners affected by severe weather.

Today, Region VI launches Operation: Bankhead Blitz to assist the community of Glenn Heights, TX with debris removal and volunteer management.

Members within driving distance of these disaster zones who are available to deploy in the coming days should ensure they have the necessary administrative tasks completed to do so.
