During my first response in Mississippi for Hurricane Katrina, I rarely saw organizations working together as well as Team Rubicon does with its partners today.
I have been personally responding to disasters in one way or another for the past ten years, and It’s been exciting to see the improvements in emergency management and the way organizations respond to disasters.
ToolBank USA and Team Rubicon have partnered up on several operations across the country over the past few years, and I have seen more organizations in a Team Rubicon FOB than anywhere else.

During one week of Operation Country Roads alone, I have seen ITDRC, Volunteer WV, The Dogwood Foundation, IsraAID, AmeriCorps, Palantir, the Corporations for National and Community Services, and several local churches, schools, and non-profits. These men and women continually dedicate themselves to their country and it’s a true inspiration and honor to work beside them.
