In order to safely and effectively serve communities affected by disasters, we partner with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to develop and conduct a Heavy Equipment Training Program. Over the last year, we hosted nine training events to certify 91 operators while 23 members currently serve as instructors.

To kick off the new year, we’re expanding our instructor cadre and inviting Greyshirts to apply for our heavy equipment train-the-trainer course by Jan. 20. Click below to learn about the two-part course and eligibility criteria. Let’s do this, operators.
