Team Rubicon Region VI DFO Shane ValVerde, Team Leader for Operation: Cajun Clean Up has called off operations in Plaquemines Parish. The team, deployed from Region X courtesy of JetBlue, worked for well over a week on the ground, conducting essential tasks such as debris management, casket recovery operations, and volunteer census.

At the end of a long, hard week of work, it was time for the team to decompress, New Orleans style! Ben Butler and Joe Callahan, long time Team Rubicon supporters from Public Properties, LLC, coordinated efforts with Jordan Monsour of Butler-Snow and The Saint Hotel to get the team showered, fed and lodged for the evening. No pictures exist of what happened on Bourbon Street.

Thank you to all who helped!
