Mike Lee, a native of Chicago, graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Creative Writing. At LMU, Mike developed international and domestic volunteer trips and served as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Student Veterans Organization. Mike’s professional background is in advertising and marketing, and has experience in executing large print and digital campaigns for non-profit and tourism clients. He lives in Los Angeles where he thinks a lot about dogs, bourbon, and the Chicago Bears.


Team Sudan is intact, all gear and personnel accounted for with no incident in transit from 2/4 Rally Point (RP) Dulles, to 2/6 overnight en-transit destination.  U.S. Travel element met at the Washington’s Dulles Marriott Suites.  Our was distributed and a rental car acquired for travel to secure maps from the Marine Corp. Much thanks Col. GI Wilson who awoke at 3am to send off the Team with quality cartographic of our theaters of operations.   Team Sudan then made their way to IAD at approx. 0800 moving through flight check in and Security without incident.
With good weather and a brief stop in Addas Abba TR Sudan arrived NBO on time.  TR Sudan was met at the Kenyatta airport by the Mayfield Guest House van for transit to the hotel where we met Dr. G and Dr. Sutter.  After having dinner at the MGH Dr. G gave the team a welcome briefing including code of conduct, medical operations plan, and media plan.  All things are going as planned. Hope this is making sense, we haven’t slept in a couple days.
Incident Travel Plan, Operational Period 0800 2/7 – 0800 2/8
0800 Morning Meeting and team split Sutter, Z. Smith, Creiglow to Pharmacy Distribution Center to acquire medication for the mission, later meeting the rest of team at Wilson Airport for AIM Caravan 208 takeoff time of 1100 hours.  Dr. G, Webster, Samy, Fong to Wilson to coordinate AIM flight at Wilson airport.    African Inland Mission Air flight plan has a 4 hour air time with one fuel stop  arriving late afternoon in Werkok. Weather forecast is favorable.
