Region 6 Responding to Severe Weather in Monroe, LA

On Oct. 13, a strong weather front containing high winds and lightning passed throughout much of the central and southeastern United States. An EF2 tornado touched down in the Monroe, LA area causing loss of power for 40,000 residents, fallen trees, and other damages in the region. 
Region 6 is establishing a FOB and billeting for members within 300 miles to assist with conducting damage assessments and clearing downed trees through Monday.
