As members of TR continue to make their way up to Pateros, WA, the team on the ground is coordinating with local emergency management agencies and NGOs taking a stake in the cleanup effort after last week’s wildfire.

More than 300 local volunteers are on site, and we’re establishing a Volunteer Reception Center, Donation Receiving Center, and Points of Distribution within the city of Pateros while conducting damage assessments of affected properties. We’re also bulking up our strike teams to tackle debris removal and push-to-curb operations.

This morning, the Mobile Command Center generously donated by Tyson Foods made its debut in Pateros. Some much-needed office space, storage room, and sleeping quarters for the crew.
