On Friday November 30, 2018 a 7.0M earthquake struck 10 miles north of Anchorage, Alaska. Shortly after, a Tsunami warning was issued for the Cook Inlet and Southern Kenai Peninsula. Approximately 1,000 aftershocks occurred after the initial earthquake. Team rubicon deployed a reconnaissance team to Alaska 12 hours after the earthquake. Volunteers were then deployed to provide disaster relief in the form of structural assessments and debris clean-up and removal within the following 64 hours.
