August 13, 2014 After spending three weeks providing wildfire relief in Pateros, WA and neighboring communities, yesterday marked the final operational period for Operation: Humble Trooper. More than 80 volunteers spent over 7,000 hours removing debris, sifting through ash-covered properties, and demolishing homes damaged beyond repair. Any outstanding work orders will be transferred to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief. Read More »

After multiple strike teams rolled out to conduct damage assessments and debris removal operations in 107-degree heat, a mandatory stand down was issued at 1400 to ensure the safety of team members. Back at it at 0800 tomorrow. Read More »
