June 9, 2014 Over the weekend, seven volunteers convened in McClelland, Iowa for a two-day response to assist homeowners in the area who'd been affected by severe storms. Region 7 Launches Operation: Fire Keeper

On Tuesday, June 3, straight-line winds and flash flooding swept through the Midwest with fury and we're firing back. While initial reports suggested property damage was limited, Region 7 received a request for support from residents of McClelland, IA, who need assistance removing multiple downed trees and debris in their neighborhood.
