Join Our Core Ops Instructor Cadre

A true, salty Manhattan Beach local, Terry is a retired Captain from Los Angeles County Fire Department, and has spent the last 30 years as a public safety professional. Since retiring from the fire department, Terry has been a public safety consultant, providing investigations, reports, and testimony toward the resolution of personal injury matters involving public and private facilities. As a passionate public safety professional, he is committed to lead by example and believes giving back to communities is essential for personal development and growth.

Team Rubicon is looking to add capacity to its Core Ops instructor cadre. Since the inception of this training course in 2016, over 250 volunteers have completed Core Ops Training, gaining knowledge on the three essential strike team skills Team Rubicon employs in the disaster zone: debris management, expedient home repair, and muck outs.
