If you’re committed to helping those affected by disasters but other priorities don’t quite allow time for volunteering, consider making a financial contribution to Team Rubicon. We’re entering nine years of service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and thanks to the generosity of donors, our organization is able to deploy trained volunteers to help survivors in the wake of hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and more. We are committed to serving as good stewards of donor investments, earning top ratings through Charity Navigator, GuideStar, and Charity Watch.
Team Rubicon has responded to more than 300 disasters since 2010 and we also launched a rebuild capability after the devastating 2017 hurricane season. More than a year later, we’re actively rebuilding hurricane-impacted homes in Harris County, TX, and Collier County, FL, and repairing or replacing roofs in Puerto Rico. Meanwhile, many veterans who choose to serve with our team are regaining a sense of purpose, community, and identity after their time in uniform, and we’re able to build stronger communities through service courtesy of those who support the mission. Below are seven ways you can give back to Team Rubicon:
1. Become a Monthly Donor
We call this elite team of steady investors our Support Squad. Their monthly gifts allow us to forecast and plan responses, trainings, and exercises further into the future. Learn more and join today.

One of Team Rubicon’s cultural principles is “Your Mother’s a Donor,” which means we aim to treat every dollar as if it came from our own mom. And she sets high expectations and doesn’t toss out cash to anything less than a trusted source. We hope you’ll feel the same way when you give back to Team Rubicon.
