Volunteers Share Experiences from Operation Dry Tears and a Burning Car Rescue

Firefighter Casey Magoon and Marine veteran Matthew Watson were part of the team who stumbled upon a woman whose car caught fire at an intersection in South Holland, IL.

Casey Magoon and Matt Watson, two dedicated Team Rubicon members, were teamed up together on Operation Dry Tears after flood waters hit South Holland, Illinois. One day while en route to a home, they encountered thick smoke rising from the engine and a woman named Margaret still inside a burning car parked at a busy intersection. It was in their DNA to respond.

Matt and Casey agreed to tell their own story. Watch it here.
