The Support Squad is an $11 monthly membership option critical to the success of Team Rubicon. This recurring donation is an investment in the development of VERTs in Region VI. Benefits include:

Business Operations

Anthony DiToma is from Tempe, AZ where he attended Arizona State University. His father, John, achieved the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1978. His grandfather, S. David Bruton, retired from the Army in 1977 as Chief Warrant Officer 4. Anthony has held several roles in the financial services industry over the past 15 years. His first deployment was with Team Rubicon during the response to Hurricane Isaac. He current resides in North Texas with his Wife, Jamie and their Son and Daughter, Roman and Ava.

Communications and Fundraising

Erica Chomsky has spent half a decade coordinating large scale disaster response throughout the United States and Haiti. Her first field deployment with Team Rubicon was the organization's response missions during Hurricane Isaac. With a strong background in communications, logistics, fundraising and operational support, Ms. Chomsky brings an understanding of all stages of disaster response as well as media and governmental relations.

Field Operations

Shane ValVerde is a U.S. State Dept. Certified Personal Security Specialist & Emergency Management professional currently serving as a member of a Texas State Type III Incident Management Team. He is a veteran of both the United States Marine Corps and U.S. Army with combat tours in Afghanistan as a special operations Civil Affairs team leader and an independent contractor. Shane is a service disabled veteran whose personal awards include the Purple heart & Bronze star.  He has responded to disasters in support of operations in numerous states within the U.S. and several countries throughout the world.

Personnel and Training

Klebe Brumble lives in Waxahachie, Texas, just south of Dallas, with his wife Marlene. Klebe served in the United States Air Force for 22 years, 11 active and 11 reserve. He served in supply/logistics, wrote history books for the USAF and ended his career as a chaplain. In retirement Klebe is a Registered Nurse in the operating room. Klebe also works as an Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) and is the charge nurse for Baylor Surgicare. Klebe is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, Missouri State University and Concordia Theological Seminary. Klebe was active in the Branson, MO Tornado response, the Dallas Tornado response, the Bastrop, Texas fire recovery mission, and a Habitat for Humanity build near Dallas.
