Get Right in Roll Call

Bobbi Snethen

Bobbi hails from Madison, WI, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin where she studied journalism and strategic communication. Following a stint as a freelance reporter, she served as a public relations professional in the nonprofit sector working to enhance community service through storytelling and online engagement. Wired to connect, Bobbi is often found rooting for the home team (in her case, the Green Bay Packers), contemplating Earlybird vs. Valencia, or generating “likes” like a boss.

Atten-hut! If you identify as a member of TR and haven’t logged into the brand-spankin’ new volunteer management community Roll Call, it’s time to get right. Your next steps:

Complete Module-1. We’ve released our own awareness-level disaster response training dubbed Module-1, and it lives in Roll Call. Carve out some time to watch this blockbuster before the TR Bat Signal goes up.

Tackle those introductory ICS courses. The Incident Command System (ICS) ensures we all speak the same language and understand our roles while responding to disasters. Once you’re set in Roll Call, knock out ICS 100 and 700, free and available online here. Once you’ve completed the courses, upload your certificates to your Roll Call profile.
