First Annual Clay Hunt Memorial Golf Tournament

Clay Hunt responds to Team Rubicon's founding operation in Port-au-Prince, Haiti

Please join Team Rubicon in Los Angeles for the First Annual Clay Hunt Memorial Golf Tournament on September 1, 2011 at 10:30am, in honor of our fallen friend and compatriot, Clay Hunt.

Clay lost his battle with PTSD on March 30th, 2011, but not before impacting the lives of thousands of people across our country and around the world.  Clay’s life was a life of service, and in honor of that life, we are hosting this fundraiser to expand Team Rubicon’s Transition program, aimed at engaging our nation’s veterans for continued service in disaster relief projects.

The event will be 18 holes, with lunch provided by Outback Steakhouse and a reception to follow with an auction, heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, a live band, and the trophy presentation. A hole-in-one wins a new car!

For our non-golfers out there, General Admission tickets are available, and include entry into the putting and chipping tournaments, lunch, reception and a good time with good people!  Tickets are now open for what promises to be an amazing event.  For more information, and to reserve your spot, please visit our online event page by clicking this link: http://www.stayclassy.org//events/first-annual-clay-hunt-memorial-golf-tournament/e6711

Please help us spread the word, and we look forward to seeing you there!

This heads up was sent to us by Yeshua with @appbaker, a brilliant company with templates for affordable apps. We are moved by the tragedy and celebration of Clay’s young life. We wish all a tournament of fun and meaning. If McKenzy Haber, 15 and scratch, would have been back from Alaska, I am certain this would have been a tournament he would have really enjoyed supporting.
