Mike Lee, a native of Chicago, graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Creative Writing. At LMU, Mike developed international and domestic volunteer trips and served as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Student Veterans Organization. Mike’s professional background is in advertising and marketing, and has experience in executing large print and digital campaigns for non-profit and tourism clients. He lives in Los Angeles where he thinks a lot about dogs, bourbon, and the Chicago Bears.

Team Rubicon Region V deployed on flood recovery operations in Dearborn, MI after heavy rains flooded the greater Detroit area. Approximately 2,500 homes in Dearborn suffered flood damage.

08-15-2014 – On August 11, 2014, 6.31” of rain fell on Dearborn, Michigan and surrounding areas. This was the second highest 24-hour rainfall amount in the Detroit metropolitan area since 1925. Substantial damages to residences and city properties occurred, including Dearborn’s City Hall, primarily in the form of basement and first floor flooding.
