Coordinate a TR Run as One Event in Your Community
Team Rubicon — the organization that pioneered veteran focused disaster response — is coming to your community, and you can help make it happen! Team Rubicon is forming localized teams of veterans to respond to disasters in your backyard, and on March 31st we’ll RUN AS ONE across the nation to launch this bold initiative.
Team Rubicon’s inaugural Run as One will be held on Saturday March 31st in memory of Clay Hunt, an original member of Team Rubicon. Run as One will be a day of remembrance and a day of hope. Clay’s death changed the focus of Team Rubicon from a disaster response organization that engages veterans to a veteran’s service organization that does disaster response. Help TR create a community of veterans that provides quick response to disasters.
TR is now operating out of 10 geographic regions. That means 10 or more different ways to celebrate Run as One. Any event will do. Lead a walk or a run and fundraise for your region; host a BBQ and invite the community to know the veterans who will serve them when disaster strikes; join a pre-existing event and proudly sport your TR shirt. Run as One events in Los Angeles and New York will also celebrate the opening of two new TR offices.
