Behind the Scenes
Sarah Wood Lenger is TR president Jake Wood’s older (and wiser) sister. She is the creative behind Team Rubicon, creating the logo and marketing materials. She is also TR’s twitterer (@teamrubicon) and blogger while the team is out saving the world. By day she is an Art Director at The University of Iowa along with Dan Sweeney (below). She also works with freelance clients in the evening and weekends. Her portfolio can be viewed at sarahlenger.com.
Dan Sweeney is the genius behind the Team Rubicon website and blog. He also works at The University of Iowa as an Art Director and freelances in his spare time. Dan lives in Iowa City with his wife, Erin, and yellow lab, Joey. His portfolio can be viewed at floatingboxes.com.
Judy Linklater was watching re-runs of Law and Order and writing for a movie review website, when she got an alert that Jake’s Life, his former military blog, had morphed into the new Team Rubicon blog, after the earthquake in Haiti. One day, a request went out for people with PR connections. Judy had some experience, so she sent some ideas, thinking that would be the end of it. However, Jake emailed her back, and she hasn’t stopped typing since, her bloody fingers strapped to her laptop 24/7. But in a good way. She can be found staring at her computer screen or you can send an email to: jelinkl8r@aol.com.
