Jake, this is a terrific presentation!! And, as one of those donors and a fully-engaged member of the TR Nation, I must reinforce and concur completely with how you’ve described the differences between large NGO’s and TR. You take us with you and make us a true partner in the team. You show us what our donations and our love and support of our fellow human beings in need are accomplishing — in real time. I agree…great presentation and it did point out how the connection via your blogs, etc. really did make us feel like “part of the team” which is definitely something missing from the big organizations. They do good work, but I feel less connected to it even though, in both cases, I am only a donor.
